Allied health support for neurodiverse needs

By April Jones

I’m doing it my way to help people on the autism spectrum.

I'm helping to raise funds to provide allied health assessments and evidence-based interventions for children on the autism spectrum. Whether a family can obtain timely formal assessments or not makes the difference between the daunting hurdles of a child's unmet learning needs, or timely access to funding and resources for educational and social support. Likewise, navigating the way to secure evidence-based language and social therapies which align with children's interests and passions (e.g., Lego Based Therapy) can be discouraging with the current waitlists in most paediatric clinics. This project aims to meet some of these needs.

Help me reach my goal. Your support would be greatly appreciated and will make a meaningful difference to children with autism and their families.
