ACRWORLD Charity Golf Day 2024

By ACRWORLD

I’m doing it my way to help people on the autism spectrum.

ACRWORLD are hosting a Charity Golf Day helping to raise funds to help provide the best opportunities for people of all ages on the autism spectrum, from tailored educational support to fulfilling work lives and improved social environments.

A bit about why we are doing what we are doing:

Aspect Central Coast School has been providing specialised autism education for over 30 years across The Entrance, Wyong and Gosford Local Government Areas and currently supports over 135 students on the autism spectrum from 4 to 17 years.

In order to prepare the students for a smooth transition into the workforce and tertiary education post-school, Aspect Central Coast School runs a work education and employment skill program for their Year 9 to Year 12 students which teaches them critical skills for job search, resumé writing and job interviews whilst also providing them with the opportunity to explore a range of different roles and career pathways that meet their strengths, interests and aspirations. This includes the completion of certified courses such as First Aid, White Card or Barista training with the school aiming to become a certified TAFE course provider in the future.

All funds raised as part of the Charity Golf Day will help support the program and cover any related expenses for the TAFE certification, completion of courses as well as work experience excursions and other program expenses.

Help us reach our goal.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.
