Going Blue for Autism

By Lyle Douglas

I’m doing it my way to help people on the autism spectrum.

This March I am raising fund I'm helping to help provide the best opportunities for people of all ages on the autism spectrum, from tailored educational support to fulfilling work lives and improved social environments.

Autism and Neurodivergence is something that sits close to home. I have two sons with similar yet very distinctly different needs having ASD and ADHD. The rollercoaster of experiences and guiding them into adult life with their additional needs definitely adds spice to life.

Coupled with myself being late diagnosed trying to make sense and unpack my own struggles and to use those experiences to assist my children, organisations like Aspect and their resources have been invaluable.

So to give back to Aspect, I am aiming to raise $2000 during the month of March.

To further bring attention and encourage conversations about neurodiversity and the extraordinary value ND people bring to the world, I will be dying my hair Blue, not just a little but like a smurf!

If you would like to help reach my goal and see me with a head full of blue locks, I would appreciate your support.
