Walking for Neurodiversity

By Abby Phillips

Did you know that 1 in 70 People in Australia have Autism Spectrum Disorder? 🌏🧩🪴

From the 14th of June to the 14th of July, I will be walking 155km to raise funds for Autism Spectrum Australia (ASD). These funds will help to provide intervention programs, resources to support motor and daily living skills and specialist social kits for adults and children living with ASD. 💻🛌

For those who don’t know, Autism Spectrum Disorder is super close to my heart, not only do I have 3 amazing people in my life on the spectrum but for the past 2 years I have worked as a support worker, helping to assist kids and adults on the spectrum. ASD is a complex developmental condition that involves persistent challenges in social interaction, speech and nonverbal communication, and restricted/repetitive behaviors. ASD offers us a chance to take a look into a beautiful world that might otherwise pass us by.

If anyone would like to donate, even if it’s skipping your morning coffee, myself and my family and every other person in Australia with family on the spectrum would be so appreciative🌼 my goal is to raise $600. the world needs more kindness, love, equality and inclusion 🤍🧡  so be kind today!!!

Thank you to my Supporters
