Christmas for all
Speaking from experience with Christmas especially it cause a lot of emotions and confusion amongst kids with autism.
My lil Nate loves seeing Christmas lights and displays but the lights that flicker fast cause him to have a break down and have a sensory overload which takes quiet awhile to calm down from so please when hanging your lights think of the whole community so kids like Nate can enjoy the lights as-well
I’m shining bright for autism
This Christmas, I’m shining bright for the 1 in 70 Australians on the autism spectrum.
Join me in celebrating the magic of giving and donate to my Shine for autism decorative light display - TODAY!
People on the autism spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently. For many, simply coping with the everyday, including Christmas, can lead to confusion, anxiety and isolation.
By coming together and taking action, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them.
Let's come together, one light at a time, and make this festive season truly special.
