Help children like Shia shine bright!
At 18 months of age, Shia suddenly stopped speaking, leaving his parents heartbroken and searching for answers. A year later, he was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum—a turning point for the family.Worried about how he’d cope in school without verbal communication, they found hope just before his fifth birthday when he joined an Aspect school. There, surrounded by understanding teachers and tailored support, Shia began to thrive.
Now, five years on, he’s still working on his communication skills and is growing into a happy, determined young student.
