Our reason
Hi everyone, please see the following organisation. We are raising money for autism. My youngest son has been diagnosed with autism, and this is to help others like Carter live and thrive in a world that is ever-changing.
This will give people with autism the resources to learn, and help others understand what it is like living with autism. As a parent of a child with autism, it is a very challenging experience. Being told by doctors that he wouldn’t do much and that we shouldn’t expect anything from him (his exact words) was devastating. How I would love to laugh in your face right now, doc.
With all the time, therapies, and studies my wife and I have undertaken with Carter, he is now talking (after being non-verbal for many years) and is able to communicate his needs. With your help, you can support others like Carter.
