Shine bright for autism
This December 2026, our beautiful son was formally diagnosed with Autism. As a family, we are choosing to meet this moment with positivity, understanding and love. We are shining bright for our son and for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum.
People on the autism spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world in wonderfully different ways. Their perspectives bring creativity, insight and depth to our families and wider communities.
Our boy is adventurous, cheeky, affectionate, resilient and determined! His dimpled laugh melts us every time and his determination reminds us daily of the importance of celebrating differences.
This year, we’ve created our Shine for Autism fundraiser to honour those on the Spectrum and support the work that helps autistic individuals thrive. By coming together and lending our support, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and flourish in the world around them.
