Shine for Autism reason

Hi my name is Nicola, myself and partner Dylan have set up our light display this year with intentions of raising money for Shine For Autism. 

Our 8year old daughter is level 3 ASD and we are lucky enough to have in place support and resources that benefit her to reach her goals and assist with daily living. However not all families are in that situation so we are hoping to raise some money to help those families in need. We understand that support for neurodivergent kiddies is so incredibly important for them to navigate through life. 

We are located 210 Fendam Street, Port Kennedy. We understand that times are tough right now so even if you are unable to donate that's perfectly fine still come along and have a look at the lights and hopefully can bring some cheer and joy this festive season. We will turn out lights on from around 7pm till late. Obviously the darker it is outside the better to view

This Christmas, I’m shining bright for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum. My daughter is one of them.

People on the autism spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently. For many, simply coping with the everyday, including Christmas, can lead to confusion, anxiety and isolation.

By coming together and taking action, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them.
