why I wanted to do this

Our baby Girl was diagnosed with ASD lvl 2 ,PDA when she was 10.Prior to that she masked well. We now know there were signs but we thought she was shy and had anxiety
There was an incident at school that was a trigger ,All our lives took a different turn. I have friends children on the spectrum , so I  had or at least though I had an understanding of their life.
We all now have a better understanding of the highs and lows of someone on the spectrum. How difficult things can get navigating society's views and expectations. Also the highs of how special and beautiful our girl is. Everyone is unique , no matter who you are. I hope our lights put a smile on someone's face and brightens their day.

I’m shining bright for autism

This Christmas, I’m shining bright for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum.

Join me in celebrating the magic of giving and donate to my Shine for Autism fundraiser today!

People on the autism spectrum see, hear, feel and experience the world differently, and their unique perspectives bring creativity, insight and depth to our communities.

By coming together and lending our support, we can help provide opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to participate, engage and thrive in the world around them.

Let's come together, one light at a time, and make this festive season truly special.
