A Brilliant Morning Tea is a chance for you to host your Morning Tea fundraiser any time of the day, in any way that works for you. Cake and coffee with work colleaugues, bake sale at your school or with your sports team or perhaps a picnic in the park with friends. You can host it your way!

To get started, simply: 

  1. Sign up here.
  2. Personalise your fundraising page by adding your event details and share why you're hosting A Brilliant Morning Tea. 
  3. Share your fundraising page with friends, family and colleagues so they can donate to you.
  4. Have fun!

Are there any costs to register?

There are no registration costs, but we encourage everyone to make the first donation to their fundraising page. This helps to kick-start your fundraising efforts and motivates others to start supporting you - lead by example!

When and where do I host my Brilliant Morning Tea?

You can host your Brilliant Morning Tea anywhere and anytime. There's so many options - coffee and cake with your work colleagues, bake sale at your school or with sports team, picnic in the park with friends and family. That's the beauty of A Brilliant Morning Tea - it's yours to create and customise as you please.

Where does the fundraising go?

The money you raise from hosting your Brilliant Morning Tea will help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide specialist education for children on the autism spectrum and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments. These services are critical in helping Autistic people to achieve their full potential.

How do I create or join a team?

Follow the 'team' registration pathway when you complete the registration form and you'll get the option to ‘create team’ (and let others know the name), or search for and join an existing team. You can also do this at a later time in your fundraising page dashboard. If you get stuck, please contact us by phoning 1800 288 476 or emailing initforautism@autismspectrum.org.au 

What do I get for fundraising?

Aside from major kudos, we have an apron for those superstar fundraisers who raise $50 (while stocks last). This one's an eye-catcher, so be sure to wear it at every opportunity when you are cooking, crafting, BBQing or gardening!

How do I add cash donations to my fundraising page?

The easiest way to do this is to bank the cash and then do an offline donation to your page. To do this:

  1. Login to your fundraising page and click "My donations". 
  2. Click "Add an offline donation" and enter the donor's details so that they will receive a tax receipt (for any donations over $2.00).
  3. Make a credit card/PayPal payment to your fundraising page for the donation amount.
