How do I sign up to host A Brilliant Brunch?
To get started, simply:
1. Sign up here.
2. Personalise your fundraising page by adding your event details and share why you're hosting A Brilliant Brunch.
3. Orangise your brunch and invite your guests using our resources.
4. Share your fundraising page with friends, family and colleagues (whether they are attending or not!) so they can donate to you.
5. Have fun!
Are there any costs to register?
There are no registration costs, but we encourage everyone to make the first donation to their fundraising page. This helps to kick-start your fundraising efforts and motivates others to start supporting you - lead by example!
When and where do I host my A Brilliant Brunch?
You can host your A Brilliant Brunch anywhere, anytime! There are so many options - book a local café and invite your friends, organise a mid-morning office break with finger sandwiches and pastries, hold a 'bring a plate to share' at school with a gold coin donation, or enjoy a picnic in the park with friends and family. That’s the beauty of A Brilliant Brunch - you can make it your own!
How is your fundraising used?
The funds you raise from hosting your A Brilliant Brunch will help Autistic people and their families access earlier diagnosis, provide specialist education for children on the autism spectrum and help create inclusive, autism-friendly environments. These services are critical in helping Autistic people achieve their full potential.
How do I create or join a team?
Follow the 'team' registration pathway when completing the registration form. You'll have the option to create a team (and share the name with others), or search for and join an existing team. How do I add cash donations to my fundraising page?
The easiest way to do this is to bank the cash and then do an offline donation to your page. To do this:
1. Login to your fundraising page and click 'My donations'.
2. Click 'Add an offline donation' and enter the donor's details so that they will receive a tax receipt (for any donations over $2.00).
3. Make a credit card/PayPal payment to your fundraising page for the donation amount.
